My portfolio of coding projects
My background
I have been using computers in a formal way since 2012 and spend as much time on my computers as possible. My formal learning experience started with a weekly Lego Robotics course at Imperial College in which I learned to write music on a computer and to use a 3D printer.
I have learned to use a number of programming languages including HTML & CSS (to make my 2 websites) and Java, although in the last two years have also concentrated heavily on Python. I have also self-taught Unity, a computer game engine used to create popular games such Clustertruck.
This learning has included a weekly Python course with 3 friends and weekly coding tutorials.
Other things I have done include building a powerful home computer with a graphics card GTX 1080, which I use for virtual reality, and visiting Bletchley Park.
I attach a sample of some more complex games that I have created and coded myself - I have however done many more.
I have also studied the theoretical side using the books “Compute-IT” (volumes 1-3), Computing for KS-3, by Dorling and Rouse.
